My daughter and I went to get hair cuts today at Great Clips in Milan,IL. So this is 2 separate reviews...
NOW THIS IS MY WARNING - IF YOU GO HERE BE CAREFUL WHO YOU GET!!!!! My daughter got her hair shampooed and cut.... When she was taken back to get her hair shampooed the lady left her sitting there for 10 minutes while she chatted on the phone.... THEN after washing her hair the lady started to towel dry her hair and the lady stopped and told my daughter to finish drying her hair while she took ANOTHER phone call!!! If I am going to pay someone $5 for washing my daughters hair they need to WASH
1. Victoria is the lady who cut my hair, She was wonderful, I gave a sketchy description of what I wanted my hair to look like, she completely understood and cut my hair perfectly, she was able to accomplish this while answering phones, checking people in and still making me feel like I was important. - I am sad she had to do this considering there were 3 other ladies there cutting hair and shuffling around not doing a darn thing!
Good girls always in and out
For the most part I love this place! I normally have a young lady cut my hair that is extremely good, and even advises me when I ask her to take it a bit shorter. :) She was right, my cut is short but I asked for shorter and ended up looking like I stuck my finger in a electrial outlet. Anyhow... to make my point, I went in Wednesday to get a trim and didn't get "my girl", BUT I did get a cut that was uneven, could not be called stylish at all (I have no words to describe) AND a wound on the back of my neck on the hairline I now pray don't become infected, from the clippers. I don't usually complain about anything and am willing to give anyone a chance. Not this time, my hair will grow out and I can have it fixed when I go back to my gal, but how could she not see the cut was not even with one side shorter than the other? AND IT IS NOT OK to cut someone with clippers!!!!
Fast and easy, good haircut.
Friendly and fast. The ladies cut my, my son's, and my daughter's hair and did a great job! We're from out of town and they were also helpful with info about local attractions. Recommended!
